About the Role
The House of Commons is a unique and exciting place to work at the heart of the UK's democratic system. The Parliamentary Security Department (PSD) is seeking a proactive Security & Access Hub Co-ordinator to join their collaborative Security and Access Hub alongside the Metropolitan Police. In this role, you will manage key access requests, coordinate vital intelligence briefings, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure the Parliamentary Estate remains resilient, secure, and accessible. Your responsibilities will include receiving and prioritising emails and telephone requests to the Security and Access Hub, dealing directly with security and access requests or escalating them when necessary, and managing customer expectations while negotiating with stakeholders to maintain appropriate timescales.
