Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all The role We have an exciting job opportunity in Camden’s Integrated Learning Disabilities Service, an award winning service recognised as good with outstanding ‘Effectiveness’ by CQC. The team were awarded the national ‘Team of the Year, Adult Social Care (including MDTs)’ and joint ‘Overall Team of the Year’ in 2022 (Social Worker of the Year Awards 2022). You will join a team of mixed professionals that delivers innovative, high quality, inclusive support, responsive to the needs and strengths of people with learning disabilities and the wider community, building on our involvement in the Named Social Worker Pilot. As Access and Support Officer for our dedicated First Contact (Duty) team you will provide high quality and effective support, delivering excellent strengths based assessment, intervention, care planning and support to people with learning disabilities. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS. About you The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within an adult social care environment, as well as working with people with learning disabilities. You will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and be confident working within a busy, fast paced environment. You will need to work flexibly across the service responding to changes in demand and move location in order to achieve a seamless management response.
