As a Lidl Accounts Specialist, you’ll be responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable activities. From looking after our property portfolio invoices, to month and year end tasks, you will be supporting and strengthening the accounting function. You’ll also be fundamental in doing reconciliations and supporting the wider Accounting department. What you'll do Managing incoming payments for the wider business Raising, coordinating and managing tenant property portfolio invoices Invoice processing Manage and develop accounts receivable processes Process improvement of existing ways of working Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and the wider Accounting department Support month end/year end closing Review account transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency Assisting with queries from, and delivery of data to, internal and external parties Supporting the key accounting departments where required (Allocate payments to other departments) Adhoc tasks where required What you'll need Previous accounting experience is essential Excellent communication skills and confidence in partnering with stakeholders Excellent computer skills - including Microsoft Excel, and accounting packages, preferably with experience of SAP FI Passionate about the topic with great organisational skills Able to multi -task and independently manage workload Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines Ability to work in a team in a collaborative way Knowledge of the German language is desirable but not essential What you'll receive 30-35 days holiday (pro rata) 10% in-store discount Ongoing training Enhanced family leave Pension scheme Plus, more of the perks you deserve If you’re ready to get stuck in, want to get more out of your career and make a real difference, find your place at Lidl and apply now.
