About this role… Assessment Centres are fast paced services where people are referred in, usually from the street, and rapidly assessed in to appropriate longer term accommodation. The services are short stay, and staff provide wrap around support and liaison with several external partners, including physical health, mental health, substance use and housing. Staffed 24 hours to ensure this quick turnaround, they are a key service in the pathways to ensure people are off the streets and in stable accommodation. We are looking for a Lead Admin and Facilities Worker to join the Lambeth Assessment Centre team. You will: - Ensure all Housing Benefit claims are made and monitored for residents at Lambeth Assessment Centre - Log and manage all maintenance and repairs for the building - Develop strong relationships with external contractors - Contribute towards a fast turnover for VOID rooms in the service - Work with the management team in ensuring that the service and building is Health and Safety compliant - Work with the management team in ensuring that the service and building is fire compliant.
