Administration Team Leader Location: Home Based - UK An excellent opportunity has arisen for an administration team leaders to join our team. Capita has been appointed by SLC to supply Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) services in East England, the Midlands, London, and Wales, The team leader will be responsible for providing guidance, direction, clear instruction and leadership to a group of individuals. The Team Manager is responsible for driving performance in respect of both quality and quantity. In addition, providing support and encouraging development of individuals, motivating all to deliver excellent results and formulating an effective team. The TL will work collaboratively with the Technical / Operations Managers and other Team Leaders across DSA, providing strong and effective leadership to the DSA Operational Teams and be proactively responsible for staff motivation and develop and maintain a team ethos as well as minimising staff absence and attrition. What you'll be doing: • Operate a culture of openness and listening that is consistent with the company values. Encourage both formal and informal communication with reports, peers and outside agencies. • Ensure employee relations are managed consistently and fairly in accordance with Capita policies, achieving the highest possible levels of employee engagement across DSA. • Carry out regular reviews with direct reports to ensure a clear understanding of objectives and recognise individual's performance. • Work closely with the client and external agencies to deliver the best outcome for all parties. • Demonstrate a strong customer focus, displaying a positive and flexible approach. • Communicate effectively the plans and strategy for the business, providing support to individuals to deliver. • Implement and monitor key performance and contract delivery indicators (CDIs) and ensure that the department achieves all set internal and contractual targets. • Adhere to a robust audit model to ensure that quality and procedures are regularly reviewed and where necessary, improved.
