About the Role
Step into a pivotal role at the heart of university leadership as the Administrator, Vice-Chancellor's Office. Working closely with the Head of Governance, Executive Assistants, and senior leadership, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and professional running of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. This varied role spans diary management, event coordination, financial administration, and stakeholder engagement, making it an exciting opportunity to develop strong professional relationships while supporting key decision-makers.
With your excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under pressure, you’ll be central to delivering seamless operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role offers more than just administration—it’s a chance to contribute to the success of the institution at the highest level. You’ll manage sensitive correspondence with discretion, oversee logistics for high-profile events such as graduation ceremonies, and provide essential project support.
In return, you’ll gain exposure to senior-level governance, enhance your professional skillset, and join a collaborative team that values initiative, diplomacy, and adaptability. If you are highly organised, confident in managing competing priorities, and motivated by making a tangible impact, this is your opportunity to shine at the very centre of the University’s leadership.

You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships. You are proactive, adaptable, and confident in managing competing priorities while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy.

Qualifications
A relevant administrative or professional qualification is advantageous but not essential. A positive attitude, strong IT skills, and a commitment to supporting the University’s leadership and governance functions are key to success in this role.
