About the Role
The Admissions and Enrolment Manager provides leadership across the full admissions and enrolment cycle at the RCA. This role is responsible for setting service standards, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and driving service development through data insights, innovation, and stakeholder collaboration. The postholder manages staff, systems, and data to deliver an excellent applicant and student experience, contributing to institutional policy, planning, and performance monitoring.
Working collaboratively with Schools, Student Support Services, and Professional Service teams, the role ensures accurate student records, compliance with external and institutional requirements, and continuous service enhancement informed by data and user feedback.
Main duties include leading and assuring the integrity of the admissions and enrolment cycle (enquiry, application, offer, CAS production, and enrolment reporting), acting as operational lead in cross-College working groups, planning and delivering postgraduate admissions annually, and line-managing the Admissions and Enrolment team.
The role also serves as senior user for student records and digital enquiry systems (primarily ServiceNow and Thesis), ensuring data integrity, timely processing, and high-quality reporting. It involves ownership of data accuracy, reporting, and analysis to inform recruitment planning, policy, compliance returns (HESA, OfS, UKVI), and executive decision-making.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing CAS issuance for international students with compliance to UKVI and other bodies, setting clear objectives and KPIs, collaborating on policy development and process improvement, contributing to system testing and training, deputising for the Head of Registry Operations, and representing the RCA at internal and external events.
The role works closely with Marketing, Recruitment, Visa, Academic Skills, and Student Funding teams to ensure a seamless student journey, including Scholarship and funding cycles and English for Academic Purposes programme registration.
Experience
Significant experience in higher education admissions or enrolment, staff management, service transformation, and postgraduate student lifecycle operations is essential.
