About the Role

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will directly manage and supervise a small number of qualified and non-social work staff, support the team manager in maintaining and developing high professional standards, and represent the service in developing key service provisions or local strategic initiatives. You will also provide consultation, coaching, and mentoring within the team, supporting effective case management, evidence-based interventions, analytical assessments, and high-quality written work.
This is an opportunity to be part of Havering’s improvement journey following a recent Ofsted inspection, helping to re-establish and reinvigorate great practice across all services. The council offers 10 days of dedicated learning annually, access to a Social Care Academy and Systemic offer, and a supportive environment committed to the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable groups.
