Description
Are you a qualified accountant with strong financial accounting experience gained and consolidated in either practice or industry?
Will you bring commercial knowledge and an understanding of how businesses operate and how accounting standards apply to complex transactions?
Do you want to be part of a team where flexible working is the norm?
We are currently looking for advisory accountants to join our growing team, supporting HMRC’s Customer Compliance group.
We can offer you a range of work that will allow you to utilise your commercial and technical knowledge and breadth of experience to understand and explain a wide range of transactions and issues.
Our team of 150 accountants have previously worked in varied roles in practice or industry, including audit and financial accounting positions. We use our technical and commercial knowledge in a range of interesting and exciting work - work that has real impacts on Government tax policy decisions, makes a difference to the nation’s finances and touches the lives of many in the UK.
We pride ourselves on undertaking CPD and share best practice both within the team and with customers.
We are running an additional campaign for Forensic Accountants. If you wish to apply for both, you will need to submit applications for each campaign. However, if you are successful at sift then you will need to sit one technical assessment and interview. We will use your outcomes from this for both campaigns.

Collaborate closely on accountancy issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Coach and mentor colleagues
