About the Role We have 4 x vacancies in our Back Office Parking Team for Appeals and Representation Officers. This career graded position comes with a number of responsibilities depending on your entry level. All candidates will be required to support our busy Parking service and be responsible for investigating and responding to a range of enquiries and correspondence, including parking appeals and representations, complaints, and general correspondence, along with following the statutory process in respect of Penalty Charge Notices. Other duties include processing refunds, administering, and responding to Charge Certificate correspondence, communicating with County Courts and Bailiff Agents to support and resolve PCN disputes. You will also handle telephone enquiries for this busy team. Additional responsibilities at Scale 6 include providing cover for your team in periods of absence and for SO1 duties, you will be expected to collate evidence packs for cases going to Tribunal, meeting deadlines for investigations to be carried out, attend personal appeals and act as the liaison officer between the Council and London Tribunals. We’re looking for candidates that have experience in a similar role, or with strong customer service skills, along with being an excellent communicator and team player. You will be able to understand and assess complex sets of written information, be good at conflict resolution with excellent written and oral communication abilities.
