An exciting opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Carpentry Apprentice. About the Role: 
As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in a variety of carpentry and joinery tasks. This may include: * Cutting and installing timber for floorboards, skirting boards, and window frames * Making and assembling doors, window frames, staircases, and fitted furniture * Fitting wooden structures such as floor and roof joists, staircases, partition walls, and door/window frames (first fixings) * Installing skirting boards, doors, cupboards, shelving, handles, and locks (second fixings) * Working across diverse sectors including hotels, banks, offices, public buildings, and residential properties Working Hours: * Monday to Friday, 07.30 – 17.00 * Potential for weekend work as and when required * You will work on-site for five days per week, attending college as required Person Specification:
We are looking for someone who: * Is punctual and has a positive attitude towards work and colleagues * Understands and follows health and safety practices * Is self-motivated and keen to learn * Has strong self-awareness and resilience * Is committed to continuous improvement * Enjoys working as part of a team * Is competent in the use of power tools (skill saw, chop saw, jigsaw, cordless drills, hammer drills, routers, etc.) Additional Information: * Some ancillary roles (such as office administration and general labouring) may also be available. * All candidates must hold a valid CSCS card as per council and principal contractor requirements. * Successful applicants will be placed on a probationary period (duration to be confirmed) upon starting.
