About the Role
HTA Design LLP is an award-winning multi-disciplinary design partnership with specialist teams working collaboratively in Architecture, Landscape Design, Urban Design, Interior Design, Sustainability, Planning and Communication Design. Working alongside Project Leaders and Architects, the Architectural Assistant, Part II, will assist in the design and delivery of projects from concept to completion, ensuring high standards of design and documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Architectural Assistant to develop their skills and gain valuable experience within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Experience
- Relevant UK postgraduate qualification in Architecture, or overseas equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year practical experience working within a UK-based architectural practice.
- Experience working on medium to large-scale housing design is highly beneficial.
- Experience in creating architectural visualisations, renderings and concept visuals is highly desirable.
About you
- Keen interest in housing design with knowledge of UK design standards and statutory requirements.
- Ability to create designs that satisfy both aesthetic and technical requirements.
- Strong visual and graphic design presentation skills with advanced proficiency in some or all of the following software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe and Affinity suites.
- Proficient in various computer software including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams to create supporting materials.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates professional judgment, initiative and decision-making in unpredictable circumstances.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build and maintain collaborative internal and external relationships.
- Calm disposition with good organisation skills and ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Delivers work to a high standard, taking responsibility for own actions and outcomes.
- Shows enthusiasm and dedication to personal development and commitment to Architecture as a career.
