About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Clinical Research Practitioner to join our dynamic team in the Centre for Clinical Infection and Diagnostics Research (CIDR). This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in infectious diseases, including faecal microbiota transplantation and microbiome-based therapies.

Requirements

Experience
Essential: Experience of working in a healthcare or clinical research role with patient/public communication/coordination duties; Experience using databases.
Desirable: Experience performing basic clinical tasks such as clinical observations (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature); Experience of working on clinical trials of drugs, therapies or interventions.

About you
Able to work in a multidisciplinary team and on your own initiative; Basic laboratory skills are desirable.

Qualifications
Essential: NVQ level 4 or equivalent qualification or qualified to NVQ3 or equivalent plus significant previous experience; Desirable: Good Clinical Practice training.
