Working within the Document Print & Solutions (DP&S) marketing department you will own the development and delivery of key customer propositions that maximise relevance and awareness of Canon’s award-winning print and information management portfolio within the Commercial customer segments. You will then turn these propositions into integrated brand awareness and demand generation programes that deliver high quality pipeline – and work closely with Sales to ensure optimal conversion rates through successful leveraging of marketing tools and messages throughout the buying and sales cycle. What we ask On a day to day basis you will: Create and manage specific, targeted customer value propositions, built on insight from customer research and market intelligence. Create impactful and compelling customer-facing content for all stages of the buying cycle. Deliver integrated campaigns that drive Canon brand awareness and leads into target segments. Accelerate leads through the pipeline by working closely with Sales to leverage all available Marketing tools and tactics. Own a well-established calendar of high profile online and offline events. Manage key industry body relationships to gather customer and market insight, and drive brand awareness and demand generation. You will use your strong communication and storytelling skills to train the wider Marketing department and Sales teams in how to effectively articulate the propositions. You will need As the B2B Customer Marketing Specialist you will possess the following skills and expertise: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a passion for storytelling and modern marketing. Previous experience delivering customer marketing programs and developing propositions for particular segments (vertical, personas, etc.). A proven track record of delivering commercial success, leads and campaign ROI within a B2B marketing environment. Project and event management experience. An ability to identify actionable insights from customer data, trends and interactions that can be used to augment proposition cut through and effectiveness, and new business opportunities. A collaborative working style and team mentality to engage your sales and marketing colleagues in the development and implementation of programs. A Marketing qualification is preferred. A willingness to travel as this will be part of the role. Further Information Salary – £42,121 up to £47,682 depending on experience. A discretionary bonus scheme dependent on level.
