In collaboration with Brityard we are looking for an exceptional team of baristas, 2 full-time and 1 part-time.

Street Level- Best of British Tasting Bar, Fine Foods, Drinks & Retail Space. Lower Ground - Wine, alcoholic Cave, Retail & Events Space hosting a diverse cultural events programme. There will also be a dedicated event and seating space where on-site brand master classes and expert-led activations be held.
Requirements
The role responsibilities
Present a knowledgeable, passionate, and energetic approach when discussing specialty coffee with customers.
Provide tailored recommendations based on individual customer preferences.
Prioritise and deliver exceptional levels of customer service consistently.
Demonstrate proficiency in operating and maintaining coffee machinery, including expertise in dialling in with La Marzocco espresso machines.
Contribute to crafting unique recipes for single origin coffees, encompassing espresso, pour over, and batch filter methods.
Cultivate and showcase exceptional latte art skills.
Exhibit a profound understanding of filter coffee and diverse brew techniques, ensuring meticulous quality control.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness throughout service, encompassing machine care, workstations, and public areas.
Manage stock supplies efficiently and communicate re-ordering needs as necessary.
Execute opening and closing responsibilities for the café.
Act as a brand ambassador for Origin, reflecting our industry leadership and setting a standard for our valued customers.

Skills and experience:
demonstrable experience working in the speciality coffee industry
demonstrable experience in training baristas including customer service and front-of-house
a strong verbal communication style
demonstrable experience of working independently and as part of a team led by core values and business objectives
Essential behavioural competencies:
extensive speciality coffee knowledge, including all brewing techniques
an acute eye with meticulous attention to detail with an ability to identify anomalies and mistakes
the ability to inspire and lead a team
an ability to recognise the opportunity to upsell, increase revenue and improve customer service
exceptional customer-facing skills
highly organised and efficient whilst working under pressure
Benefits
Competitive Salary
£12.00 to £12.50 per hour.
Nature of contract and working pattern
Full and part-time.
Holidays
26 days including your birthday off, as well as 8 bank and public holidays (pro rata for part-time)
