About the Role
Join Synnovis, the UK’s leading and fastest growing pathology company, as the Beaker Genomics Workstream Lead. This is a unique opportunity to lead a newly formed team responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining a world-leading Genomics IT system across Synnovis Genomics laboratories. You will collaborate closely with operational, clinical, and IT teams within Synnovis and partner NHS Trusts including Guy’s and St. Thomas’, King’s College Hospital, and Princess Royal University Hospital. Your goal will be to deliver a robust Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that supports cutting-edge pathology services.

Synnovis is redefining pathology by combining clinical excellence, innovative science, and operational expertise to improve healthcare outcomes across South East London and beyond. You will be at the forefront of this transformation, leading the Genomics Beaker Team and working within a partnership between SYNLAB UK and Ireland and NHS Trusts.

The role includes operational management responsibilities such as team leadership, reporting, managing sickness and absence, annual leave, training delivery, recruitment, and retention. You will build strong, trust-based relationships with IT, clinical, and operational stakeholders and collaborate across teams to manage issues effectively.

Experience
- Significant experience working in hospital-based pathology laboratories.
- Proven experience in LIMS management and leadership within a complex healthcare environment.
