For this role specifically, we require the successful applicant: To travel to our HQ in London at least once a quarter. To be available and open to overnight stays within the set region on occasion whilst carrying out the day to day role. This will ensure you can really get plugged in to the Pod Point experience! Join the EVolution: The BDM – Wholesale will work alongside the Wholesale Manager to partner with our Wholesale partners. You will also look to identify potential wholesalers, who we can partner with, supporting their onboarding and training of our products, to help them to refer Pod Point to their customers. On top of that you will: Build and develop relationships with Wholesale head office and regional business leaders. Build relationships with Wholesale Branches, directly and in partnership with other functions, including marketing, and third parties. Target new wholesale partners branches to expand Pod Point’s presence in the market. Support Branches with staff meetings and technical training and the establishment of Point of Sale materials. Support and lead trade events. Target regional contractors installing EV charging to drive volume through our wholesale partners directly and in partnership with other functions, including marketing, and third parties. Collaborate throughout the business and work in partnership with other sales functions to identify customer segments that can leverage the Wholesale Channel. The key metrics and KPI’s to be successful in this role are: Ensure all sales targets are achieved or exceeded Ensure branch participation targets and growth targets are achieved or exceeded Work with internal and external partners to ensure they achieve or exceed their objectives and targets; including leveraging national, regional and local promotions Ensure all sales objectives; pipeline management, client engagement, are achieved or exceeded Electrify us with your skills: Prior sales and account management experience are essentialfor this role. Any knowledge of the wholesale market would be seen as beneficial. The core skills required are: Experience working with or for Wholesalers. A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Experience account managing B2B relationships and B2B2B customer engagements.
