Ref: C9727 The opportunity has arisen for this vacancy within the Adventure Playground service. Working as part of a team, you will carry out general duties on the playground involving supervising activities, interacting with all the children and young people who attend, maintaining health and safety and kitchen cover. You will need to be aged 17 or above and will be working with children aged 8 - 16 years at the Adventure Playgrounds and up to 16 years at youth sessions in Hemel Hempstead. You must be prepared to undertake compulsory training sessions. There are no set hours of work for this post, work is provided on an ad hoc basis depending on the needs of the service. We are looking for individuals who are flexible in their working hours and able to cover shifts offered during either term time and/or school holidays, term time evenings and weekends, or on an ‘as and when’ needed basis. An Enhanced check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
