Zero contracted hours (Monday to Sunday, including weekends, days, evenings, holidays and sleep-ins)
Salary
£15.52 per hour inclusive of holiday pay or £13.85 per hour exclusive of holiday pay

Advance is looking for Casual Support Workers in Hackney, London to support customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
- Medication administration (if required)
- Support with preparing and cooking meals
- Support with attending medical appointments
- Support with social activities
- Support with independent skills
- Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
- Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
- Keeping up to date with your training
- Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night
- Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required)
- Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety

Experience
No previous experience in care or support is required. What matters most are your values, passion and determination to make a difference in the lives of people with autism or learning disabilities.

- Good at working independently and within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to complete quality support records
- Able to work every other weekend
- Ability to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain customer records
- Literate and numerate in English
- Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role, but you must be willing to undertake sector-specific training and achieve the Care Certificate as part of your development.
