We’re an award-winning charity that runs local learning centres in the heart of communities where the young people we support live. Our centres provide an innovative education programme which includes practical learning support and motivational and confidence-building activities for children and young people aged 7-18. Our aim is to inspire students from the least advantaged neighbourhoods to broaden their horizons and achieve their full potential. We are currently recruiting Centre Leaders for several of our IntoUniversity learning centres. As a Centre Leader, you will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support. We are currently recruiting for a Centre Leader for our IntoUniversity centre in Brixton. Please note: this position is a fixed-term, maternity cover contract until April 2025. Working hours Full time Monday: 9:30am – 6:00pm Tuesday: 9am – 5:30pm Wednesday: 9am – 5:30pm Thursday: 9:30am – 6:00pm Friday: 9am – 5:30pm (Some additional weekend & unsocial hours will be required) Salary £36,000 per annum (inclusive of £2,200 London contribution). This will rise to £38,100 (inclusive of £2,600 London contribution) from 1st September 2024.
