You will be responsible for the site's overall appearance on a daily basis, providing outstanding cleaning services in order to keep the surroundings safe and hygienic for everyone. What you’ll do: Supervise and train the cleaning staff, ensuring tasks are performed to the highest standards of cleanliness. Develop and maintain cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the university are cleaned regularly and thoroughly. Monitor the performance of cleaning staff, providing feedback and support as needed. Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, including ordering and restocking as necessary. Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues or concerns raised by staff, students, or faculty. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning needs during events and high-traffic times. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures, fostering a culture of safety within the team. Prepare reports on cleaning operations and staff performance as needed. What you bring: Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities management industry, preferably in an educational institution. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Hands-on experience with cleaning equipment and machinery. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
