About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, talented clerk who is seeking the flexibility of part-time working to support the Local Governing Body in various schools across our Trust. Local Governing Body meetings are held at each school three times a year, with an additional pay committee meeting held once per school/per year. As a clerk, you will be integral to promoting the effective governance of the Trust and ensuring proceedings are conducted in accordance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and established guidance. You will provide appropriate support to Local Governing Body Chairs by managing paperwork for meetings, providing draft agendas, and producing accurate and concise minutes of meetings whilst maintaining up-to-date information on membership. In addition, you will advise the Local Governing Body on procedural matters where appropriate and may also be asked to support ad-hoc panel meetings. You will be offered job-specific training, as well as ongoing support from the Governance Manager, whilst being provided with the opportunity to network with other clerks.

Experience
No specific experience required, but familiarity with governance processes is beneficial.

Enthusiastic, organized, and able to work independently. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications required, but a background in administration or governance is an advantage.
