About the Role

London Museum has an exciting opportunity for a Collection Move Technician, which requires a collaborative, practical and flexible approach to the handling, transport, storage and care of collections. You will play a key role in supporting our exit from London Wall and relocation of the Collection. As we move towards the creation of a new museum at Smithfield, you will also play an important role in developing collection storage facilities; preparing and enabling collections to move; and delivering medium-to-large scale collection move projects.

Experience
Previous experience of handling, moving, packing and transporting museum objects is essential. Proven experience of working flexibly and creatively in a project-driven environment is required. Experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle and holding a full clean driving licence is necessary.

Qualifications
