What you’ll be doing To carry out refuse & recycling collections daily with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job. Undertaking all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal. Use of in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed by the Contract. Completing relevant paperwork in real time. Responsible for the daily inspection and reporting of machinery, before and after usage, including vehicles. Responsible for the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles. To maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly members of the public and other motor users. Your typical working hours are: 6am to 2pm OR 7am to 3pm Monday – Friday What you’ll need to do the role Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (With no more than 6 points), Driver CPC Willingness to help Loaders whilst on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement. Good communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated Willingness to undertake tasks. Clean drivers licence desirable for all staff Previous relevant experience desirable. What’s in it for you?
