About the Role
Are you ready to shape the future of contract and supplier management at the heart of UK Parliament? This is a unique opportunity to lead a growing and ambitious commercial function, supporting a £1bn annual spend and delivering high-value goods and services across the Parliamentary Estate, including the iconic Palace of Westminster. As Deputy Commercial Director for Contract and Supplier Relationship Management, you will drive strategic transformation, lead a dedicated team, and champion best practice in contract and supplier management across both Houses.
Key responsibilities include leading the Contract and Supplier Management (CSM) team, with direct line management of two Heads of Commercial and significant financial and operational autonomy. You will develop and implement Parliament-wide strategies for contract management and strategic supplier relationship management, ensuring best practice and value for money. Acting as a senior stakeholder liaison, you will support contract managers, oversee critical frameworks, and drive continuous improvement across commercial standards, tools, and processes.

Experience
- Proven expertise in contract and supplier relationship management, ideally within relevant commercial categories.
- Demonstrated success in leading business change and delivering value for money through effective contract and SRM strategies.
- Experience managing high-performing teams and driving service improvements.

Qualifications
- CIPS Level 5 membership (or equivalent experience) is required, with Level 6 (MCIPS) preferred.
