About the Role
Acorn Engineering Ltd is trusted to deliver market-leading engineering and compliance services to several hundred sites across London and the Southeast. With over 40 years of experience, we provide every type of mechanical, electrical, and fabric service for your property, including specialist water treatment, gas, air conditioning, and electrical services in-house. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will undertake planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and repair works across various contracts. You will be responsible for maintaining low pressure, high pressure, power, steam boilers, and hot water heating systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. You will also liaise with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors to maintain excellent relationships and ensure smooth operations.
Experience
Knowledge of combustion systems, HVAC plant (A/C, boilers, controls, heating and cooling systems, ventilation), and building services is essential. Understanding of Legionella and overall Health & Safety is also required.
About you
You should possess a valid driving licence, good communication and time management skills, and be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial.
Qualifications
CCN1, CEN1 (E), CODNCO1, and OFTEC qualification are required for this position.
