About the Role
Are you a Commis Chef looking for a rewarding, varied, and unique role? At the House of Commons, you will be part of a friendly and professional catering team, preparing fresh, seasonal dishes and helping to lead the daily running of the kitchen. Working alongside the Senior Chef, you will support and inspire junior chefs while delivering food of the highest standard for Members, staff, and visitors in one of the UK's most historic workplaces.

Experience
Relevant catering qualifications such as City and Guilds 706:1&2 or NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3 (Pastry) or equivalent. Ideally experience in managing and motivating staff within a team often under pressure, with the ability to prioritise workload to deliver a high-quality service. Experience in giving feedback and supporting the development of peers and juniors, or the ability to develop these skills.
About You
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to respond quickly to customer needs. Motivated to work in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment and support a high standard of food preparation and presentation.
Qualifications
Must hold relevant catering qualifications as stated above.
