As our Community Housing Assistant, you?ll be the face-to-face customer support to our community, and will be making a massive difference to our customers lives. What an average day looks like for our Housing Assistant Arranging and assisting with the viewing of properties for our customers to move into and managing associated paperwork to changes in tenancies. Carrying out housing management tasks such as managing voids processes, estate inspections, engaging and meeting with contractors on site. Collaborating with our internal teams and external agencies. You?ll carry out and record the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities. About you Have a ?can do? positive attitude, you?re proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative. Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business and external partners The cherry on the cake would be if you understand housing management, housing law and universal credit too, but it's not a deal breaker! Confident using technology to use systems and update records etc. Like being part of a team but appreciate that this is a role where you?ll spend most of your time working onsite in our local estates.
