About The Role The Concierge is the first person most guests meet on arrival at the MOJ HQ Estate. It’s vital along with perfect presentation that the Concierge is friendly, polite and has a courteous manner. Their primary goal is to ensure guests have a pleasant experience and that requests by guests are dealt with promptly. It may involve giving directions inside the building and/or landmarks within the London area etc. Part of the role will also include the protection of MOJ property, assets and the safety of their staff and guests whilst on the MOJ HQ premises as long as it does not infringe the Health and Safety of the Concierge protecting these assets. This position involves working with a team of Security Officers and other more senior management, to provide an efficient and professional Concierge/ Corporate Security service to the client. Also part of the Incident response team, dealing with evacuations and incidents. Specific Responsibilities - Customer service: The Concierge needs the ability to meet and exceed guests' expectations and provide services they require. Liaising with Stakeholders using provided OCS IT equipment Directing guests keeping waiting guests/visitors to the correct floors. Multi-tasking skills: must be able to do several things with constant interruptions. Contact Stakeholder for deliveries at reception. Problem solving: Faces all kinds of problems and issues and must readily solve these to the satisfaction of clients and guests. Meeting and verifying guests in the reception area Helping guests with their baggage and or any disability requirements Handling customer and members of the public queries Taking and delivering messages for the guests and/or hosts Searching of random Visitor and Contractor bags Access and Egress control (Validating, issuing, checking passes) Monitor and respond to alarm activations and check designated areas of concern and effectively communicate with the control room. Identifying and reporting FM issues to enable rapid resolutions of problems and faults.
