Contract Supervisor – Grounds Maintenance (Kingston & Elmbridge) Location: Kingston & Elmbridge Area Salary: Competitive Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week) About the Role Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in grounds maintenance? Glendale is seeking a Contract Supervisor to assist in the day-to-day operations across Kingston & Elmbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing programmed maintenance, motivating teams, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Assist the Contract Management Team in running programmed maintenance ✔ Supervise and motivate the Service Delivery Team ✔ Monitor staff timekeeping, holidays, and sickness ✔ Lead by example in Health & Safety compliance ✔ Ensure security and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and plant ✔ Uphold Glendale’s quality and customer care ethics ✔ Enforce workforce discipline and ensure smooth daily operations ✔ Complete daily check sheets and paperwork

Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Experience leading staff and small teams in a similar role ✅ Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills ✅ Operational background in public open spaces is preferred ✅ Horticultural qualifications (desirable) ✅ Experience using IT systems (Google Workspace, field management tools) ✅ Flexible, proactive approach to managing multiple teams and services ✅ Full UK driving licence required
