We are looking for an organised, efficient, and experienced CCTV Operator to join our team for Mitie Business Services. You will be working within a helpful team to maintain and monitor systems in the Security operations centre.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting daily operational requirements – ensuring compliance and accurate recording of incidents to outline identified risks. As part of your role, you will be required to escalate incidents, report Health and Safety concerns, and respond to emergency situations also producing accurate reports to ensure alarms are efficiently responded to.
Our ideal candidate will have awareness of the law across, The Private Security Industry, Health and Safety for the Private Security Operative, Fire Safety, Technology and Systems in the Security environment and Emergency Procedures.

Roles and responsibilities
The ultimate goal of the Workplace CCTV Operative is to keep the Client's people, property and assets safe, by
monitoring the cameras to identify, prevent and manage incidents. To be a contributing
member of the Workplace team, ready to step in and assist any area at any time.
Operate under a “Keep the property and building users safe” mindset
To always conduct oneself in a Welcoming, professional and engaging manner whilst ensuring the area
remains secure at all times.
To protect the customer's property, people, and assets
To be highly visible, always available and the “go to” person for queries
To be immaculately groomed, approachable, and helpful
To deliver a 5* hotel concierge style experience at all times, even in BOH areas
Main duties
Deliver an experience that is professional, friendly and attentive
To proactively look out for building or safety issues, ensuing a swift resolution
Be the face of the facilities team by providing tangible service that is visible and easily accessible
Greet and acknowledge all colleagues and building users as they arrive/depart/pass by, ensuring they
receive exceptional service
Conduct oneself in a professional manner, adhering to established standards of conduct,
department procedures and policies
Utilise a “hands on” approach whilst ensuring the service delivery is at the required standard
Lost property management
Creating, updating, and displaying signage as required
Respond to and coordinate incidents
Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role
To be aware of and ensure compliance in aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory
requirements as directed by the and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies
Fully and satisfactorily complete all of the focused tasks and duties on site as defined within the
published Assignment Instructions (AI's)
Generate reports and send to the relevant people, eg first aid/wardens, waste etc
Carry out daily/nightly audits of the visitor and contractor passes and reporting any not returned
To immediately report any systems malfunctions
Host contractors on site
