Shift Pattern: 5 days a week including alternating weekends Position: Permanent Position Location: Coulsdon, Surrey (Customer Fulfilment Centre) Pay: £12.89 per hour Due to the nature of this role, we require all applicants to be over 18 to apply About the role: As a Cook you will work as part of the Catering team delivering excellent customer service and quality food by working flexibly as part of a team, ensuring that stock is replenished and displayed to required standards. Adding value to the efficient and profitable running of your operational area to achieve your personal, team and branch objectives. This position requires you to adhere to hygiene and health and safety standards at all times. Job Requirements: To actively deliver excellent customer service and quality food to our internal customers - our Partners. To assist with the cooking and preparation of varied healthy food offer, in a safe and legally compliant manner to help create an environment where Partners want to come in and relax in. Working as part of a team of catering assistants to ensure a smooth service is provided in accordance with all relevant procedures. To ensure stock available to meet service requirements, with attention being given to controlling wastage and ensuring food is rotated and no items are left beyond their sell by date. To act promptly on any Partner comments, using initiative to resolve them where possible and report issues or unsolvable day-to-day problems to the line manager. Essential skills you’ll need Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Previous catering experience in cooking and serving. Worked in a fast paced customer facing environment.
