Vacancy No VN2096 Location City London Location Country United Kingdom Job Description Job Title: Creative Solutions Production & Project Senior Lead (12 month FTC) Reports to: Creative Solutions Leader Department: Channel 4 Sales Team: Creative & Content Solutions Team Location: London DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Creative & Content Solutions Team The Creative & Content Solutions Team, a fusion of the former Sponsorship & Commercial Partnerships team and the Creative Hub Team, has been strategically united under two distinct leaders - the Content Solutions Leader and the Creative Solutions Leader. These two leaders will have sub-teams who report to them, with clear functions and responsibilities. They will collaboratively oversee the comprehensive realm of Creative & Content Solutions. In close coordination with the Customer & Commercial Leaders, the duo will jointly set the agenda and manage the end-to-end process of conceptualising, designing, and delivering creative & content solutions. Their collective expertise in commercial drive, strategy, and creative specialisms will be harnessed to proactively enhance initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and innovative approach to meeting the diverse needs of our customers. Creative Solutions Team This team provides strategic insight and creative solutions and sets the creative standard for all cross-platform partnerships. This team works closely with the Content & Creative Solutions Account team to ensure brief-led responses are managed appropriately and that proactive initiatives are brought to market. The Senior Strategy Lead will be responsible for triaging all briefs and will work closely with the Creative & Content Solutions Account team to ensure clients are responded to appropriately. In turn, the Production and Project Team will work closely with the Creative & Content Solutions Account team and the Creative Solutions team to ensure all projects are delivered in line with anticipated timelines and meet the creative standard set by the Creative Solutions team. JOB PURPOSE Reporting to the Creative Solutions Leader, the Senior Production & Project Lead manages a team of Production and Project Leads (M level) and is responsible for the production and project management of Creative Solutions projects and initiatives. The role’s primary focus is managing resources and production shoots in tandem with the independent Production companies to deliver all projects within the defined timelines and in line with the Creative direction set by the Creative Solutions Leader. The Senior Production & Project Lead will also manage and build relationships with C4’s roster of production partners, emphasising driving our off-screen remit values and demonstrating we are working with a broad range of diverse and inclusive production partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Define and implement ways of working and the internal processes for the Creative Solutions team to drive project management efficiently. Lead the operations process and the programme management of productions, working closely with the team of Project Management leads to ensure all deadlines are adhered to. Manage a team of Production & Project Leads to ensure every point of the process is covered from the briefing stage through to delivery. Project manage major brand partnerships from briefing through to delivery. Manage and identify new partners that can be added to C4’s production roster ensuring we use relevant, diverse and inclusive partners on our brief responses. Scope and brief production partners as part of creative partnership brief responses, ensuring diversity & inclusion are considered in selection process. Work closely with Customer Groups and Content & Creative Solutions team to ensure they have oversight of campaigns and ensure hand offs happen at the appropriate times as agreed between Customer Team, Client Team and Creative Solutions. Liaise with the following internal stakeholders when delivering 360 campaigns – sales, commissioning, compliance, legal, finance, research, social, PR. Track Creative Solutions revenue (booked and forecasted) and share figures with finance and senior management on a monthly basis. Manage talent agents and talent outreach when it relates to Creative Solutions initiatives. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Experience as a Senior Producer / Project Manager / Production Director and will have worked across various platforms covering social, linear and digital. Experience working at creative agency/media agency /broadcaster/publisher. Proven track record of producing and project managing 360 brand campaigns and partnerships. Proven experience in managing and developing Project Managers. Proven experience in developing best practice processes and documents and implementing their rollout. Proven attention to detail and strong stakeholder relationship management skills. Expert production knowledge and ability to interrogate budgets from production partners. Hybrid working From September 2023, C4 has operated a 60/40 working pattern, equating to three office days per week.
