Description
Would you like to work closely with a caseload to support people who use our services into substance misuse treatment and away from crime?
Are you a committed, organised and highly motivated candidate, with a good understanding of the Criminal justice system, the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues?
The Role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced drug and alcohol recovery practitioner to work closely with partners from police, probation and the courts. The role’s focus is to assist service users to address their offending behaviour, engage in recovery-orientated drug and alcohol treatment and become free from dependency. You will provide assertive outreach to support the larger Harrow Recovery Centre Team, supporting offenders to re-engage in treatment and to identify offenders who would benefit from the service. This exciting new role will offer the successful candidate the chance to make a lasting difference to the lives of our service users, their families and the community.
Maybe you don’t meet every single requirement on the job specification, that's okay; personality and attitude count for a lot in this field. If this advert has piqued your interest and you are excited about this opportunity, we encourage you to apply or even get in touch to discuss the role.
You could be just the right candidate for us, either in this role or another role within our organisation!
This role is dependent upon the successful applicant obtaining Metropolitan Police clearance
