The Role
• To facilitate seamless access to drug and alcohol service provision across the criminal justice pathway, supporting improved outcomes and reductions in offending behaviour.
• To take an assertive approach to the coordination/ delivery of assessment and engagement, including for Drug/ Alcohol related court orders and prison engagement, delivering evidence-based interventions (brief and structured) and recovery planning.
• To work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders in particular criminal justice partners, across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all Via policies and Safeguarding principles.
• Deliver criminal justice interventions, such as supporting the IOM scheme, delivering Required Assessments (RAs), Restrictions on Bail (RoB), Drug Rehabilitation Requirement (DRR) and Alcohol Treatment Requirement (ATR) assessments.
The Service
ARCH is a free and confidential service for young people and adults who live or are registered with a GP in Hillingdon. Many people turn to drink or drugs as a way of dealing with negative feelings, such as depression, stress, trauma or anxiety. We work with people at any stage of their alcohol or drug difficulties to provide a single point of access to assessment and treatment, for problems.
