It starts with you. As a Staff Nurse on the Critical Care Unit at Nuffield Health at St Bart's, you'll drive the standard in patient care. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience. As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will: Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care Nuffield Health Barts Hospital In 2022 we opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services. Our new hospital consists of: 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms 28 consultation rooms Three digital operating theatres Cardiac catheterisation lab Specialist intensive care beds Oncology day unit Endoscopy and minor ops theatre Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray Our critical care unit has 7 beds, taking level 2 and level 3 patients. These are predominantly elective patients. We also provide a critical care outreach service or the rest of the hospital, and a UKONS triage service for our oncology patients. Helping you feel good.
