Description
The Creative Department at Lewisham College is a lively department with exceptional facilities, strong industry & employer links, and courses in Art & Design, Performing and Production Arts and Media. The current course offer covers Levels 1 to 3 with a huge potential to grow both young and adult provision to meet local, regional, and national needs.
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Curriculum Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing curriculum and delivery teams, achieving high expectations and quality outcomes. As Curriculum Leader, you will lead and manage a team of lecturers and specialist technicians, oversee large resources, and support staff, and manage a comprehensive suite of courses across multiple disciplines. You will ensure the continued excellence of our curriculum delivery across Further and Adult Education.
In this role, you will drive and maintain high standards of teaching and learning, foster a collaborative and innovative environment, and monitor and enhance curriculum quality and effectiveness. Additionally, you will engage with industry professionals and stakeholders to enrich the curriculum and support the professional development of staff members., The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate strong professional links with employers in the Creative industries and should have the ability and motivation to develop links between employers and course delivery.
We are looking for an experienced leader with strong leadership and management skills, a background in curriculum development and team management, and a passion for creative education. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.
There is also teaching commitment circa 10-12 hours per week.
