Location
We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations in Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), London and Manchester, working between office and remote throughout the week. As part of the hybrid working arrangement, there is a 40% minimum office attendance requirement.

Salary
£58,594 - £70,634 (National: £58,594 - £66,043, London: £63,751 - £70,634) plus up to £7,500 skills allowance.

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and accomplished security professional to join us as a Lead Cyber Security Risk Manager, reporting directly to the Principal of this area. Using your expertise, you will help to ensure our organisation continues to develop "secure by design" protections for organisational assets and embed the ONS Security Framework across the ONS. You'll be recognised as a subject matter expert and will operate across the organisation helping to translate security requirements, offer advice and guidance, and fundamentally identify and analyse possible security risks. Requirements

Experience
Proven experience in a cyber security role with a strong understanding of security frameworks and risk management.

About you
You are a proactive and analytical thinker with excellent communication skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to continuous improvement in security practices.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security or a related field are preferred, along with certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
