Recently awarded Council of the year, the Royal Borough of Greenwich is looking to recruit a Team Manager / Deputy Lead Occupational therapist to lead and manage a team of skilled Occupational therapists and support staff. Job Role The Royal Borough of Greenwich is committed to delivering high-quality social care services to our diverse community. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Deputy Lead / Team Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and independence of our clients through comprehensive assessments and tailored care and support plans. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of skilled Occupational Therapists and support staff. Support staff in developing and implementing individualised care plans to promote health, well-being, and independence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary system wide teams, including health services, voluntary agencies, and local authority providers. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Provide mentorship, training and professional development opportunities for team members. Have recent experience in staff management and human resource processes / procedures Monitor and evaluate service delivery to ensure high standards of care and evidence based outcomes. Deputise as required for the Principal OT / Service Manager. What We Are Looking For: A qualified and registered Occupational Therapist with significant experience in social care. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in using IT systems. A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic environment.
