We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Delivery team on a fixed term/secondment basis here at Southern Housing. In the role of Development Delivery Manager, you will lead, manage and deliver programmes of development and construction projects from start on site through to post completion, ensuring schemes are compliant and all risks factors mitigated. This role can be based at either Fleet House, Farringdon or Grosvenor House, Croydon but there will be an expectation to travel across sites and work 1 day a week at Fleet House. This role will work in a hybrid way, with arrangements to be discussed and agreed with your line manager. Experience of use of Sequel or similar project management tool is a strong preference. Please note, this will be a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. What you'll need Proven experience of project management experience working in the private sector or social housing sector Understanding of the regulatory requirements of social housing construction Good understanding of risks in the construction process and good risk management skills Strong communication skills including report-writing and presentation to a variety of stakeholders Demonstrable experience of contractor and consultant management In your supporting statement, it is important that you address how you meet each of the above criteria providing real examples.
