An exciting opportunity has arisen at the National Housing Federation (NHF) for a Digital Officer. The NHF is the voice of housing associations in England. We are the trade body to almost 600 housing associations, who have grown from philanthropic roots to provide 2.6 million homes to around 6 million people. Key elements of the role:
- Manage the NHF’s website on a day-to-day basis and ensure excellent user experience, putting them at the heart of the process.
- Deliver digital projects, working closely with colleagues across the NHF, and managing relationships with external suppliers, identifying risks and delivering projects to specification and budget.
- Provide relevant reports as part of ongoing analytics reporting, evaluating against agreed KPIs and using the results to improve digital engagement.
- Project plan and deliver external communication plans.
- Advise colleagues on all aspects of communication as part of a joined up strategic corporate communications strategy including tone of voice, marketing, website, and social media.
- Use strong writing skills to reach different audiences, adapting where necessary to suit our different channels.
The successful candidate:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Confidence using web content management systems and email platforms.
- Ability to devise and deliver content and communications plans.
- Ability to advise colleagues on how to communicate effectively with target audiences.
- Skills in summarising complex information into clear coherent messages that different audiences can understand.
- Ability measure communications impact and evaluating reach.
