The Director of Environment and Public Protection will have overall responsibility for departments such as waste, street cleansing and enforcement, greenspaces, traffic and parking, highways, public protection, performance management and business support teams, whilst managing six direct reports. The successful applicant will have experience and a great passion in effective leadership, embedding the organisations values and behaviours across the service, whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, local and national organisations, and our members whilst also demonstrating clear political empathy and sensitivity.
