Are you an individual with a passion for supporting service users with substance misuse and mental health issues? We are looking for an experienced practitioner looking to make their next steps into a Senior Practitioner role. The Role This exciting role will require a Senior Practitioner to deliver excellent evidence-based drugs and alcohol support to service users, their significant others including family members, friends and carers experiencing substance misuse issues and mental health conditions (dual diagnosis). This overarching role will support with building partnerships and working relationships with agencies in the borough, such as hospitals and mental health services. The individual will manage a protected case load of service users with a dual diagnosis and coordinate and deliver assessments and evidence-based interventions (brief and structured), recovery planning and aftercare planning. The successful candidate will be supervised by a Senior Dual Diagnosis Nurse. The Service Via Brent, New Beginnings is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing psychosocial and clinical interventions in partnership with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). The service is based across 2 hubs; Cobbold Road and the Willesden Centre for Health. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Brent residents, irrespective of circumstance.
