About the Role
As the Early Years Funding Manager at Achieving for Children, you will oversee the statutory duties and functions related to early years entitlement and the administration of childcare-related grants and payments on behalf of Kingston and Richmond Councils. Your responsibilities will include managing a multi-million pound budget, implementing government early funding policies, developing robust claims and payment systems, overseeing audit contract management processes, and providing information and training to stakeholders. You will be passionate about supporting children and young people, demonstrating strong analytical and numeracy skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for fostering productive partnerships with various stakeholders. You will be determined and ambitious, capable of achieving challenging objectives and delivering excellent outcomes. Strong organisational and creative-thinking skills are necessary, alongside a commitment to resource optimisation and cross-team collaboration.

Experience
Strong financial expertise and data analysis skills are required. Experience in managing budgets and compliance with regulations is essential.

Qualifications
