About the Role

We are seeking an EDI & Wellbeing Coordinator to champion staff across the college by driving initiatives that promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing, while ensuring staff benefits and rewards remain competitive and attractive.

This varied and meaningful role involves leading the development, coordination, and delivery of college-wide EDI and wellbeing programmes. You will engage staff directly, coordinate EDI Champions, and facilitate Strategic EDI Group meetings. You will also take ownership of the wellbeing programme by designing initiatives, campaigns, and resources that promote health, wellbeing, and work-life balance.

Additionally, you will oversee staff reward, recognition, and benefits schemes, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with our values. Organising staff events and campaigns to foster community, inclusion, and engagement will be a key part of your role. Working collaboratively with the Learning & Development Coordinator, you will design and deliver EDI and wellbeing training sessions embedded within staff development frameworks, measuring and reporting their impact.

Requirements

Experience
Proven ability to communicate and engage effectively with colleagues at all levels. Experience in policy development, data reporting, and managing multiple projects simultaneously is essential. Experience in further education or the wider education sector is advantageous. Knowledge of staff reward and benefits schemes or delivering training sessions is desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage. Strong organisational and analytical skills. A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with a passion for promoting equality, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing in the workplace.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in equality, diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, human resources, or a related field would be beneficial but are not explicitly stated as mandatory.
