The EDI & Wellbeing Coordinator will champion equality, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives across the college, ensuring staff benefits and rewards remain competitive and aligned with our values.
This varied and meaningful role involves leading the development, coordination, and delivery of college-wide EDI and wellbeing programmes. Responsibilities include engaging staff directly, coordinating EDI Champions, facilitating Strategic EDI Group meetings, and overseeing the wellbeing programme by designing initiatives, campaigns, and resources that promote health and work-life balance.
The role also includes managing staff reward, recognition, and benefits schemes to ensure fairness and transparency, organising staff events and campaigns to foster community and engagement, and collaborating with the Learning & Development Coordinator to design and deliver EDI and wellbeing training embedded within staff development frameworks. Measuring and reporting on the impact of these initiatives is also essential.
Experience
Proven experience in coordinating equality, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives is highly desirable. Experience within further education or the wider education sector is an advantage. Familiarity with staff reward and benefits schemes and delivering training sessions is beneficial.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levels. Strong organisational and analytical skills are essential to manage multiple projects, policy development, and data reporting effectively. A collaborative approach and commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture are key.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or training in EDI, wellbeing, human resources, or related fields would be advantageous but are not explicitly required.
