About the Role
As a Mobile Electrical Engineer within the Electrical Services Department, you will work proactively and independently, undertaking all necessary tasks with a conscientious and reliable approach. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Your responsibilities will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance, ensuring engineering standards are maintained, assisting with EICRs in commercial properties, conducting annual emergency light testing, diagnosing and rectifying faults on electrical systems, completing minor works installations, and maintaining accurate paperwork. You will also be expected to follow health and safety procedures and may need to work flexibly, including nighttime shifts.
Experience
Knowledge of electrical installation works and testing within commercial properties, ability to fault find electrical faults, and experience in annual emergency light testing.
About you
You should possess good communication and time management skills, sound judgment, and logical problem-solving abilities. Being self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team is essential. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
Qualifications
Fully qualified electrician – City & Guilds 2360 (or equivalent) & NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2391 (ideal but not essential), 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, AM2, and IPAF/PASMA certifications (ideal but not essential).
