Description
The National Lottery Heritage Fund Leading, Inspiring and Resourcing the UK’s Heritage The National Lottery Heritage Fund is the largest funder of the UK’s heritage. The projects we fund create lasting and positive change for people and communities and we believe that heritage has a crucial role to play in contributing to a more equal society. We are currently recruiting for a part time Engagement Manager on a permanent contract based in London (Hybrid Working). The Engagement Manager role includes stakeholder engagement with people or places we are targeting, pre-application support activities such as workshops and commissioning advice, and delivering events and partnerships. The role involves collaboration with sector stakeholders such as National Lottery distributors, funders and local Community and Voluntary Sector bodies. The role will also work with other Heritage Fund departments, including communications and policy. You will enjoy working with people and inspiring them about the heritage of London and South. You will be supporting a wide range of potential applicants, from historic buildings, under-served communities, such as LGBTQ+, to Wildlife Trusts. You will help them to understand the potential of heritage, and to access the National Lottery good causes money, and other funding we distribute. Take a look at some of the £3.3bn we have invested into heritage in the London and South Area. If you would like a discussion about the role or have questions, then please contact Emma Edgell at [email protected] or Sarah Wicks at [email protected] If you are excited about helping ensure that heritage is inclusive and accessible to everyone, for now and future generations, then we want to hear from you. Applications close on 1 October 2023. Interviews are expected to take place on 17 and 18 October 2023. Please apply via our website. Our Values Our Values and Behaviours sit at the heart of our work and are central to how we recruit. How you demonstrate our Values is just as important to us as your skills and experience. Inclusive of all aspects of heritage, people and communities Ambitious for our people, communities and heritage Collaborative by working and learning together Trusted for our integrity, expertise and judgement Flexible Working The National Lottery Heritage Fund has offices all over the UK and we champion a flexible approach to working where this supports our business needs. We have formally adopted a hybrid working approach. This means that most employees will work from their contracted Heritage Fund office twice a week at minimum. Time spent on site visits to projects or other meetings based at another Heritage Fund or external office are counted as part of those two days. The other days in the week employees may work from home. Disability Confident Employer We guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum essential criteria for every vacancy. We always endeavour to make reasonable adjustments and special requirements can be discussed and arranged before an interview.
