As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a ESG Compliance and Reporting Officer. This role will be responsible for identifying, auditing, tracking, and evaluating ESG issues, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and reporting frameworks This role will report directly to the Director of ESG. In addition, this role will frequently partner with the Finance, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Facilities, Internal Audit and ESG Advisory teams. The expected salary range for this role is £45,000 - £65,000; exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Director of ESG on all elements of sustainability strategy planning, execution, and associated governance, Ensure timely delivery around all sustainability submissions including the annual submissions for our key ESG agencies (such as UN PRB, CDP, EcoVadis and WDI etc) Set the strategy and run the day-to-day operations of the Kroll’s ESG initiatives, by building and spearheading strategic projects to deliver financial, social and environmental value for all stakeholders Establish governance framework, metrics and disclosure strategy for internal and external commitments Lead annual greenhouse gas emissions footprint assessment and ensure Kroll is on track to meet its stated carbon reduction plan Craft qualitative and quantitative narratives clearly articulate ESG strategy, programs, and successes and tie ESG achievements to key enterprise performance metrics Ensure timely and accurate responses to ESG-focused disclosures and inquiries from sponsors, clients, non-governmental organizations and ESG ratings entities Monitor and manage Kroll’s global ESG compliance obligations to mitigate risks associated with noncompliance Partner with marketing colleagues to develop compelling content and communications for a variety of stakeholders Partner with internal cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate efforts on developing, refining and advancing ESG disclosure goals – proactively identify evolving topic areas and expectations of external interest, conduct ESG gap analyses and develop recommendations for further action to fill performance and/or transparency gaps Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: ESG-related experience within Professional / Financial Services environment Knowledge and experience with relevant ESG regulation, standards and reporting requirements—CSRD, EFRAG, CDP, GHG protocol etc.—as well as familiarity with assurance processes Experience with carbon accounting, carbon reduction strategies and climate-related risk assessments Understanding of the evolving expectations of professional services firms for responsibility and sustainability among various stakeholders (e.g., shareholders, ESG ratings entities, governments, non-governmental organizations, etc.), perform assessments of current performance, and develop recommendations for action Ability to partner and influence across teams; strong influencing skills and ability to work successfully across the organization Strong communication skills to deliver external and internal reporting Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor presentations to diverse audiences, including the Board of Directors A rigorous approach to data management and analysis Proactive and flexible self-starter who is confident in ability to work across all levels of an organization and the ability to manage one’s own time to complete work accurately and to deadlines. Excellent research skills Preferred qualifications: Experience in analyzing data and developing insights that influence strategy and lead to results Strategic thinker with technical skills, analytical ability, sound judgment and operational focus Highly organized, detailed approach with capability of managing multiple deadlines and complex projects Ability to build and maintain relationships, influence key partners and deliver results in a collaborative team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to simplify the complex Strong computer skills, including solid skill in the Microsoft Office suite Must be able to occasionally travel as needed to complete job duties In order to be considered for a position, you must formally apply via careers.kroll.com.
