Electric Vehicle (EV) Officer Full Time – 2 year Fixed Term Contract Redbridge Council's Transportation Strategy Team is excited to announce a new opportunity for an Electric Vehicle (EV) Officer. This is a full-time, two-year fixed-term position, pivotal to the success of the Council's EV Strategy and the delivery of the recently secured LEVI grant-funded EV charge points. About the Role: As the EV Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering the LEVI Project and achieving the Council's EV Strategy targets. Reporting to the Principal Transport Decarbonisation Officer, you will leverage your project management skills and experience within the local authority transport strategy sector, specifically in implementing electric vehicle charge points. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the delivery of the LEVI Project. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of EV charge points. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Council's EV Strategy. Monitor and report on project progress and outcomes. About You: We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest and knowledge in Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have: Project management experience, particularly in the transport strategy sector. Experience with delivering electric vehicle charge points within a local authority context. Strong organizational and communication skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
